If you have questions about your coverage, please contact your insurance company directly. Please note: your insurance will process the claims for your visits based on your individual plan benefits, and this varies by plan.

We suggest you ask your insurance the following questions:

  • Is Austin Osteopathic Medicine/Dr. Lytle-Vieira in network for my plan? If yes,

    • Do I have a co pay? If yes, what is it?

    • Do I have an in network deductible? If yes, what is it and has it been met?

    • Do I have co-insurance?

    • Is Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) covered under my plan? If yes, is there a limit to the number of visits I can have each calendar year? (Please note that OMT is not physical therapy and should not be confused with it).

Please note, if you have an HMO plan, a referral from your primary care physician is usually required.

For those patients with insurance plans that the doctor is not contracted with, payment is required in full at the time of each visit. These patients (except Medicare patients) will receive a copy of the bill at the end of each visit to submit to their insurance for reimbursement, and we will provide guidance in submitting it to your insurance. Visits to Dr. Lytle-Vieira's office are medical visits, so are eligible for reimbursement.

"Dear Dr. Saskia, I attribute a lot of my healing to your diligence and great work."
